Ottonomy’s Ottobot Patents

Ottonomy has developed a cool robot named Ottobot, designed to deliver packages to places like airports and shopping malls, both inside and outside. This robot is really smart. It can move sideways to navigate through tight spaces and doesn’t need a person to operate it. It has special compartments that can be changed based on what it needs to carry, and people can get their deliveries without touching anything, just by scanning a QR code. Recently, at CES 2024, Ottonomy introduced two new types of Ottobots, one that can store and deliver different items securely, and another called Ottobot Brew that can dispense drinks like beer and coffee, showing just how versatile and helpful these robots can be.

Working Principle:

  • The Ottobot operates on a sophisticated algorithm that integrates Lidar sensors, cameras, and real-time data processing to navigate through complex spaces autonomously.
  • Equipped with a modular design, the Ottobot can adapt its storage units based on delivery needs, supporting various item sizes and maintaining temperature control.
  • Contactless delivery mechanisms are enhanced by QR code scanning, ensuring secure and hygienic transaction completion.
