Intel’s 81% grant rate is slightly lower than the average grant rate of its Art Units

Intel has filed 58565 patent applications at USPTO so far (excluding Design and PCT applications). Out of these 41419 have been granted leading to the grant rate of 81.57%. 

Key stats of Intel’s patent prosecution at the USPTO:

Strangely, the grant index of intel is marginally less than the average grant index of its GAUs. This is unusual for a company like Intel that has successfully prosecuted more than 50000 patents.
