He leads and conducts complex patent searches across a wide range of objectives, including invalidation, litigation support, Freedom-to-Operate (FTO), patentability, infringement, landscape analysis, Standard Essential Patent (SEP) analysis, and patent strength assessment, having completed more than 450 searches to date.

His technical expertise spans Audio/Video encoding and decoding, Semiconductors, Telecommunications, Computer Architecture, Networking, Sensors, and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Across these domains, he works through complex inventions and prosecution histories to identify relevant prior art and translate technical findings into insights that IP and R&D teams can act on with confidence.

He is the author of GreyB’s Cellular IoT landscape report, which maps patent and technology trends across cellular IoT and highlights innovation and competitive dynamics in the space. As a Team Lead, he also mentors researchers and helps shape research strategy and quality standards across the team, supporting the delivery of high-quality, litigation-grade analysis.
